I have found this book to be a valuable resource for seniors Once you have been diagnosed by your doctor, it can provide useful information concerning specific stretches to help with your physical therapy It is not a medical text book, but it can provide enough information to help the patient on the road to recovery The book covers ailments of all the major muscle groups from the neck down I have flagged numerous sections in the book for my personal referencing.
Being a senior active in multiple sports, the book gives me greater peace of mind I have found information concerning a few issues that I always wondered about, but my primary care physician could not provide adequate answers It has helped with my sciatic nerve pain, strained groin muscle, and tight iliotibial band The key is to have a quality stretch everyday It may take weeks or months to reach your goal, but you will eventually see improvement in range of motion and absence of pain This book does not replace a thorough evaluation by a well trained physical therapist Your physical therapist should demonstrate the range of motion that you should have that range of motion will be your goal This book will be your at home reference.
